Maddie’s® Treatable Assistance Program
Maddie’s® Treatable Assistance program supports the adoptions of senior and / or medically treatable homeless dogs and cats originating from animal control shelters in Alameda, Contra Costa and San Francisco Counties. The program provides adoption stipends per adoption of medically treatable or senior dogs and cats. The program currently from October 2012 through December 2014.
Maddie’s Fund® is piloting the subsidy program to give local shelters and rescues the means to find more homes for vulnerable shelter pets, strengthen the relationship between animal control shelters and adoption guarantee groups, and shift some of the burden of responsibility for these pets away from cash-strapped government agencies.
Tenth Life foundation is very grateful for the generous support from Maddie’s Fund®.
